Gardening, Food Preservation, Canning, Dehydrating, Country Living, Chickens, Ducks, Guineas, Building, Sawmills, and more. It all started with a dream.  My husband and I dreamed of living a quiet simple life with a little house in the woods, with a big shop for him and a little barn for me.  The dream is happening!  Come along as we move our little homestead from a western desert where irrigation is a part of life, to the eastern woods where God waters the ground! We'll share homesteading tips as we grow our homestead, garden, food storage with canning and other food preservation, poultry, growing meat and country life in general. Welcome! Make it your ambition to live a quiet life, work with your hands, and tend to your own business just as I have commanded you. 1 Thessalonians 4:11. 'Quiet Ambitions' is the goal. Create a simple lifestyle based on simple old-fashioned ideals.
