What we collect, and why
Built around three privacy promises
Your shipping address is never public
Brands only see it after you accept a gifted or hosted-stay deal with them. Not a single brand sees the address before you have agreed to ship.
Your legal name and DOB are private
We collect them once to confirm you're a real human and to satisfy payment-processor rules before payouts. They are never shown on your public profile.
You stay in control of every offer
Every brand message and offer requires your explicit acceptance. You can pause your inbox, set offer types you don't want, and remove your profile entirely at any time.
Common questions
The things creators ask first
Is claiming my profile free?+
Yes. Creators never pay to claim, list, browse or apply. Ikaroa charges brands a 12% take rate on paid deals. Gifted product is 0%. Hosted stays are a flat placement fee paid by the venue.
Do I need a minimum follower count?+
No. Brands set their own minimums per brief, but the directory itself is open at every size, from nano to mega.
What happens after I claim?+
You can edit your public profile, set your rate card, choose which offer types you receive, add a shipping address for gifted product, and start applying to open briefs.
Will brands see my home address?+
Only after you accept a gifted or hosted deal. Your address is never on your public profile and never visible to brands you haven't worked with.
How do you stop someone else claiming my profile?+
The bio-code check proves you actually control the social account, plus we capture legal name and date of birth at claim time. Stripe runs full ID verification before payouts are released.
Can I remove my profile if I change my mind?+
Yes. Delete from your dashboard at any time. Your row is removed from public discovery within minutes.
