Macpac is New Zealand's original technical outdoor brand. Founded in a Christchurch garage in 1973, we started out designing packs for New Zealand's mountaineers. Since then we've built out a range of gear for every adventure, from tents and sleeping bags, through to apparel and accessories that can handle any climate. Our design philosophy based on durability - we make gear that lasts, is functional and can be repaired again and again. We're committed to protecting the wild places we hold so dear, and helping people from every walk of life discover the truth that drives us - life is better when you're outside.
