Baroness
Michelle Mone OBE

We designed and built the personal brand website for one of the UK’s best-known entrepreneurs: founder, peer, speaker and mentor. One navy-and-gold home for the whole story.

“Work hard, play hard, and always give something back.”

The brief

A brand as established as the name on it

Michelle Mone built Ultimo from a kitchen table, was made an OBE, and took a seat in the House of Lords in 2015. A personal site for someone with that record cannot look like a template. It has to carry weight from the first scroll.

So we built a single, calm home for four different audiences at once: the entrepreneur reader, the event booker, the mentee, and the journalist. One brand, four front doors.

Entrepreneur

The founder story, from Glasgow’s East End to Ultimo and the House of Lords, set as a long-form read with a pull quote and the portraiture to match.

Speaker

The keynote side: stage photography, talk themes and the topics she is booked for, laid out so an event buyer gets what they need at a glance.

Mentor

The mentoring work, framed in the same calm, premium tone. One promise, one clear path to get in touch.

The press wall

Twenty years of covers, in one filterable grid

What we built

01

A wardrobe of navy and gold

Deep navy, warm gold, ivory and a serif masthead. The palette had to read as House of Lords, not high street, so every page leans quiet and considered rather than loud.

02

The portrait does the talking

A full-height portrait carries the homepage. On a personal brand site the person is the product, so we gave the photography room instead of burying it under widgets.

03

A press wall worth a billion

Twenty years of covers, features and clippings, filterable by year. It turns a vague claim into evidence you can scroll, which is exactly what a press page is for.

04

Built to be handed over

Responsive top to bottom, fast, and hosted on Open Doors, our own platform, so updates and uptime stay in one place rather than scattered across vendors.
