Common questions
Do I need to cancel my old hosting first?
No, and you shouldn't. Keep the old host active until the new site is live, tested, and you're confident in it. We'll tell you exactly when it's safe to cancel.
How long does a migration actually take?
A standard single site takes one working day from handover to a tested staging copy. Larger sites, multisite networks, or stores with a lot of custom code can take three to five days.
What if my site has custom code or an unusual setup?
We ask for access up front specifically to catch this. If your site needs something outside a standard migration, we'll tell you before starting, not after.
Do you migrate email too?
We migrate the website. If your email runs through a separate provider, we'll map the existing DNS records so it keeps working through the switch, and flag anything that needs your provider's attention.
