I started My Singapore Food in 2015 with the sole aim of preserving heirloom recipes, which are treasured and held dear by you and your family. · My personal story begins with my mother, an amazing cook, baker and kueh-making lady. Her cooking was a means to provide for and feed us; it was an essential thing that she did for the family. My mother could not write and could only read simple words, she learnt to cook by feel and memory. · When she reached her 70s, she was diagnosed with dementia. I tried to encourage her to cook, and to record the recipes down. But, I was too late, she simply could not remember them. This propelled me to embarked on this journey of documenting heirloom recipes. · We share videos of Singapore food, a melting pot of culture, uniquely Singapore. Is this free?+
Yes. Claiming, listing, browsing, applying — all free for creators. Ikaroa only charges brands a 12% take rate on paid deals.
Why do you need bio-code verification?+
It proves you control the account. We never ask for your social-platform password. The code stays in your bio for sixty seconds, then you remove it.
Can I edit how my page looks after I claim?+
Yes. From your dashboard you can rewrite the bio, set your rate card, add brand collaborations, choose which offer types to receive, and add a shipping address for gifted product.
What stops a brand seeing my home address?+
Brands never see your shipping address until you accept a gifted or hosted-stay deal with them. It's never on your public profile.
How fast do brand offers actually arrive?+
Most claimed creators in active categories see their first brand pitch or matching brief within the first week. Top categories (food, beauty, travel, fitness, parenting) are the fastest.
Can I delete my profile later?+
Yes, from your dashboard. The row is removed from public discovery within minutes.
