Welcome to the official channel of Friuli Venezia Giulia tourist board! FVG is a colorful Italian region rich in experiences for everyone, all year round: skiing on the white peaks, relaxing on the golden beaches, discovering the purple Karst by mountain bike and enjoying the gastronomic heritage of the verdant Collio. A trip to FVG is a journey through the history of Europe: thanks to its particular geographical position and to the encounter of the Latin, Germanic and Slavic worlds, FVG has always been a land of intersections and connections. The result is an original and peculiar melting pot of languages, cultures and traditions. The geographical and cultural variety is reflected in our gastronomy as well, the inseparable companion of every journey: top quality products are used in recipes that mix local tastes and traditions with Mediterranean, Alpine and Balkan accents. All served, of course, with excellent red and white wines among the best in the world.
