Ikaroa is proud to announce that HumanForest, a bike-sharing company, recently received more than €13.6 million in new funding. This latest round of financing brings the company’s total funding to date to over €30m and will enable them to expand its reach beyond London, where it currently operates.
HumanForest, which was co-founded in 2018 by Erez Nisan and Daan Weddepohl in London as a lightweight and affordable bike-sharing service designed to enable anyone, anywhere to get around on two-wheels quickly and affordably. The latest funding round, which was led by new investor Lupa Systems and included existing investors Sandaire and SeaLink, will be used to scale up the bike-sharing service in London, expand into the rest of the UK, and explore opportunities to launch in additional cities around the world.
