‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before’ gets a spinoff in ‘XO, Kitty’s trailer

The cool teen wedding behind Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) in To all the boys I’ve loved beforeis back for his own spin-off show.

XO, Kitty follows Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart), Lara Jean’s younger sister, as she moves to South Korea to finally reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, Dae (Minyeong Choi). The catch? Dae has a secret girlfriend on the side. While her matchmaking skills may have previously been successful, Kitty must go back to the drawing board and reassess everything she thinks she knows about love.

With some adventures in Seoul, new friends and forbidden love, Kitty’s journey to find herself begins in this adorable spin-off.

Netflix’s much-anticipated teen rom-com spinoff of “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” is finally here and the trailer was recently released. Entitled “XO, Kitty”, the spinoff is a cheerful look at the life of Kitty, the spirited and excitable younger sister of Lara Jean Covey, the protagonist of the original movie.

Kitty, played by narrator Anna Cathcart, is passionate about music and convinced that she needs to spend the summer before college doing something daring and exciting. It won’t be long until her dream of a music competition turns into an unexpected journey to explore love and friendship.

The trailer, which highlights Kitty’s optimistic outlook on life, provides viewers with a peek into the bright and colorful characters and settings in which the story will unfold.
